Default Restored 1976 rare floor tom.

I have a Ludwig floor tom I bought used in 1981 that I believe is a 1976 based on the serial. I added it to my Slingerland set to gig with back then. It's been collecting dust and rust since then until I decided it was a shame for such a nice and rare drum(I don't think 20" diameter by 18" deep was common) to be neglected. I had my friend Pete recut the edges and restore the shell and the lugs and I bought new rims and tension rods. Here are the results. Amazing transformation!

    Nice! That’s definitely a beast.
It would go great with my 28,14,16,18 Ludwig project kit!

"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham

    Nice............and a blue/olive badge dates it too.
I've played an 18FT many years -- although I love it, it is the most difficult drum (to tune) in my set -- a 20 would be a fun experiment.
Last time I saw a 20FT in concert, it was played by Lenny White in RTF.

It looks great, and I am sure it makes a big boom. Peace and goodwill.
