    Marvin ‘Smitty’ Smith is an American drummer who graduated from Berklee in 1981 and has recorded on more than 200 albums with various artists. He is currently the house drummer for NBC’s Tonight Show Band

    This is Smitty playing "Greensleeves" with the Buddy Rich big band at the Buddy Rich Memorial Concert at the Ritz Theater in New York City on April 8, 1991. You might be surprised. Also, note this is in 3/4 time.
