Peter York is a British Drummer known for playing in "the Spencer Davis Group" which included Spencer Davis (g), Seve Winwood (key.), and Muff Winwood (Steve's brother) on bass.
He recorded thirteen albums with Spencer Davis, eight albums with Hardin & York, and with Nazareth, and reocorded and played with Jon Lord, Eddie Playboy Taylor & the Blueshounds, Rick Sanders, Brian auger, and others including Eric Clapton.
He had eighteen of his own albums. He started a series of albums called "Superdrumming". The first had Ian Paice, Louie Bellson, Cozy Powell, Gerry Brown and Simon Phillips.
The second had Billy Cobham, Bill Bruford, Dave Mattacks, Zak Starkey, Nicko McBrain, Jon Lord and Eddie Hardin.
The Third had Jon Hiseman, Steve Ferrone, Mark Brzezicki, Trilok Gurtu and the return of Ian Paice.
