mine also says it doesn't remember... but if I just hit "new posts" it's automatically logs me in!
Try it
For the past year or more, this site is the only one that won't remember my creds. Every time I come here I have to put in user name and then password to sign in. This is the only site that does this and it does it with all 3 browsers I've tested. Chrome, IE (for now until it's killed off) and now Edge.
I almost shut down my log in and removed the shortcut in my browser but before I signed off I thought you should know why.
Been fun but I'm done with "begging" to get in every time.

Bish, I'm sorry man. Someone else complained about this recently but I was sure it was user error. It turns out there is actually something wrong with the forum. I take responsibility for not taking this issue more seriously. It wasn't happening to me. The board recognizes me. I'm contacting su_admin and we'll try and get this fixed right away. So sorry... and my apologies to anyone else that has been experiencing this.
I've had to sign in almost every time for the last 5-6 weeks.

I sign in every time to log in.
Doesn’t bother me. Actually feel more secure that way.
For some reason, I'm not signed in when I don't put the "www" at the start of the URL, but if the address has the "www" then it remembers that I'm already signed in. This has probably been going on for years now? Hasn't really bothered me too much to be honest.

Just to clear the air, normally this kind of technoBS doesn't bother me. Many things around me are and this got caught up in a day of total frustration and I've had it with anything technical that is causing chaos. You might say, "I'm fed up."
I apologize if I took it out on Drum Chat. My final word.

I'm a little late to this party, but I've had that problem for a long time. I'm not recognized until I click through to one of the comment threads. A source of puzzlement, but no big deal.

Guys, I'm told this will be fixed soon. They have a small staff due to Covid so everything is backed up. On behalf of Drum Bum, I apologize for the inconvenience.
Everyone, past attempts had failed in fixing this but according to su_admin, it should be working correctly now. Let me know if your log in experience gets better. I believe it should remember your credentials now.
I just tried not knowing about the fix and my results were what they always are. Next time I sign in I'll be sure I've checked the box to remember me and see what happens. Thanks for your efforts.

Do you guys always log out? I don't. I have only had a few times in 12 years when I've had to sign back in.
