    Default Makeshift upper Hi-Hat pole

This hi-hat stand was missing the upper pole / tube where the bottom hi-hat cymbal mounts and can be adjusted for height. (How someone lost this, I have no idea?)
I used a copper tube that fit perfectly. I then slid a plastic cymbal sleeve onto the clutch rod (aka: pull rod) and into the copper tube face down. I then slid another plastic cymbal sleeve face up with a felt on it.
    Works great!

    Thanks drummer!
I could see a hi-hat missing it’s clutch or a wing nut but the upper height adjustment tube? Where is somebody going to find one of those for replacement? I’m glad I was able to save it instead of tossing it.
