Gerald Michael Edmonton (Gerald McCrohan) was born in Oshawa , Ontario, Canada (1946-1993) and was the drummer for "Steppenwolf". He later changed his last name when played with "The Sparrows".

Later the band moved to California and changed their name to Steppenwolf. He played with them from 1967-1972 and 1974-1976.
