Rat Skates ( Lee Kundrat) was born in Summit, New Jersey is a filmaker, writer, and drummer. He is a founding member of "Overkill" and played with them from 1983 to 1987. He got his nickname by his friends combining his last name (Rat) with (skate) from skateboarding (he was a semi-professional skateboarder).

Rat studied jazz drumming but taught himself rock drumming by listening to rock drummers such as Cliff Davis (Ted Nugent), Joey Kramer (Aerosmith), John Bonham (Led Zeppelin)and Peter Criss (Kiss).

Originally the band was called "Virgin Killer" after the Scorpions album of the same name but later was changed to "Overkill".

This is Rat playing "Overkill" from the album "Overkill".
