New Birdseye Maple Stave Snare
So my drum instructor is also an engineer and overall craftsman. He decided to start building stave snares a few years back and has put out some nice pieces. I went over today to check out a birdseye maple snare with brass tube lugs, and a DW 3 way throwoff. He told me to take it home and take it for a spin on the kit. So far I am really loving it. Will likely buy it when we have a lesson next weekend. Here are some pics.
