David Lee Roth "A Little Ain't Enough"
David Lee Roth's "A Little Ain' Enough" is his third album (although he is on various other albums) after leaving Van Halen.
This album has a different line-up than the previous two albums. Again, he has assembled a great group of muscians: Jason Becker (guitar), Gregg Bissonette (drums), and Matt Bissonette (bass).
This is a great sounding hard-rocking album that is also smooth with perfection.
This is "It's showtime". Not too many dummers can play a double-bass shuffle, but Gregg does a fine job here.

That's awesome. Great players! I would say a lot of drummers can play the double bass shuffle, it's not that hard. But there aren't as many songs you can play it too where it wouldn't sound bombastic or over-powering.Originally Posted by aboveforever

I know from working with Drum Bum through the years, that this forum is costly to run. It requires server fees, hosting, ongoing moderation, advertising, software upgrades, security certificates and IT work when it breaks. "Tell the Truth" isn't bad. At least it doesn't sound like a VH song.
For me DLR's voice is too iconic with VH to be able to successfully make a go of it elsewhere. Just my humble opinionated opinion. So there. lol
