    Guys
Is it uncommon to have two 18 medium crashes and a 20 ride?
Is having 2 of the same crash common? Its a 24 bass, a rack, and 2 floor toms.

I don't know if it's common or not but I've never had two of the same cymbals on one setup.

I've had two 16" at the same time but they were different in brand, appearance and performance.

    YMMV.

Both 18” medium, same brand? As long as they sound different but it really only matters to the ear of the beholder.

This. Most pro drummers will not have two cymbals of the same size that sound alike but if they sound different from one another, go for it.

Ha-ha! I was thinking the same thing. We'll give him a pass this time but next time he gets stood in the DrumChat corner of shame along with the guy that said Lars Ulrich was the greatest rock drummer that ever lived.

I like at least one cymbal with rivets to mask and or compliment my brand of tinnitus!
