I believe it's built to lift and not a drum stop, no? You'll need to put a carpet down or use drum stoppers of some sort.
Dixon/Evans bass drum lift
Not having the best time with my Dixon/Evans bass drum lift. It seems the bass drum creeps away on me. Right now I’m on the concrete floor which is probably the issue. Has anyone had this issue?

Everyone loves FREE... like this free drum forum. But like your car and even your drums, they require upkeep and maintenance and that requires money.

I know from working with Drum Bum through the years, that this forum is costly to run. It requires server fees, hosting, ongoing moderation, advertising, software upgrades, security certificates and IT work when it breaks. Yes, thank you. I know it’s for lifting because I’m using a small sized 16” bass drum. The vibration was making the bass drum slide forward while playing. I do need to try it on a carpet or with stoppers of some sort which should do the trick.Originally Posted by drummer

Yes like they said also Gibraltar makes a bass drum anchor. Spikes on one end also rubber on the other for carpet or regular flooring.
