    Default Dixon/Evans bass drum lift

Not having the best time with my Dixon/Evans bass drum lift. It seems the bass drum creeps away on me. Right now I’m on the concrete floor which is probably the issue. Has anyone had this issue?

I believe it's built to lift and not a drum stop, no? You'll need to put a carpet down or use drum stoppers of some sort.

Yes, thank you. I know it’s for lifting because I’m using a small sized 16” bass drum. The vibration was making the bass drum slide forward while playing. I do need to try it on a carpet or with stoppers of some sort which should do the trick.

Yes like they said also Gibraltar makes a bass drum anchor. Spikes on one end also rubber on the other for carpet or regular flooring.

I use this lift for my 18" BD on a rug. It works great, no creeping.
