    Default Changed it up a bit

    I’ve always been the two up, two down kind of guy. However, the one up, two down set up has been growing on me a bit. Last night at rehearsal I decided to give it a shot, and it worked well for me.

    I think it's still a popular set up. Not for me though. I think I'll always be 2 up, standard configuration. I just have too much stuff worked out on the standard 5 pc. kit and don't want to think too hard when I play, lol.

    Put your extra tom on the left. I'm biased being a lefty but I LOVE having a tom on my left for all of my kits.

    I dont use 2 up just because i dont like how it looks .... but actualy, i usualy use just a kick, snare, floor.... and i put a tom only when i realy need it. I have found that playing without tom makes you think different and u have to use a kick drum more in the fills.
