One kit ordered Monday. FT showed up yesterday. Where's the rest of the kit?

Oh it showed up today in one big half opened box. I have yet to unpack and inspect.

Ordered another kit from another seller. Ordered yesterday. BD and FT show up today but no MT. UPS guy thinks it's on a different truck so I don't expect to see it until tomorrow.

Sometimes......

That's common with multi-box shipments. It's hard for the carriers to keep them together in transit because of the sheer size of their operation. When it gets to be 4 or 5 boxes, they should pallet them but stores don't want to pay the extra costs for palleting. Customers demand lowest price, so... That's the result of the 'race to the bottom' dynamic that we've set up here in America. It all comes at a cost.

The Yamaha's are your standard fusion setup...10" MT, 12" MT, 16" FT, 22" BD.

The Lud's are 12" (still in transit) 14" FT 18" BD.

The 12" Ludwig tom got delivered today. All that's left is a bunch of new heads, a matching Ludwig snare and (by Spaz's recommendation) a Gibraltar BD riser. I think heaven just descended into my basement.

I also have my first gig with my new band on Saturday, May 8th at our very own local casino, Rhythm City. My band skipped the drudgery of having to play the bar scenes to get recognized for bigger venues.

If you are referring to the Oaks, I actually found them at GC in Raleigh on Monday. Called that morning, marked it sold, and here they are. LOL

The Luds were bought new from Reverb from a drum shop in the Chicago area. Oli might know who I am referring to.

Both shops did great on follow-through, shipping and pricing.

Classic Maples? Those are gorgeous, I almost went with Blue when I ordered mine. Great sounding very musical drums that can be tuned high, med, low and never bottom out no matter how hard you hit em. Love my CM's.

Wow, loving the 18” bass drum.
Those are so much cooler than breakbeats. I think you may like Remo vintage emperors as batters on those.

Thats the one thing I do not have is a matching snare. What size snare did you order? Guy at local music store kind of talked me out of it but I am getting closer to selling my DW 10/6 snare and getting a Matching CM snare while they still have my color available. Although the 3 position butt plate on m y dw is a wonderful design and hard to part with.

The only heads I have not liked on my CM's surprisingly was the ludwig medium silver dots. Every time I play my kit I smile at how good it sounds. I have had a lot of kits as most here know but I wont ever part with these. Congrats bud she is beautiful too.
