    Default Shoutbox?

I believe it's live right. I see conversation in there but it seems random. How do you work it? Sorry, I'm new to this stuff.

    Cool Shoutbox?

Hey, Jackdrums! Welcome aboard...good to have ya!

Shoutbox is definitely live. You type in your comment, hit the Shout button, and in a few seconds it pops up in the box below, with the time you posted it and your member name. You can add smilies, change the color of your shouts, add italics, and so on...

I'll put a shoutout for ya in the Shoutbox in a moment.

Sometimes it looks a little disjointed because there are two or three members shouting at the same time and one will comment on an earlier comment while another member comes in a bit faster with a new topic. Don't let it throw ya! To make sure there's someone who can shout back at ya, check the "Members Online" at the bottom of the page. For example, if it shows "Members Signed In: bongobro and jackdrums," that means you and I are on-line...just shout away and someone will get back to ya!

    Again, welcome aboard, bro'!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

"Maybe your drums can be beat, but you can't."--Jack Keck

Hi Slinky, yes it was hardly being used so the owners decided to remove it.

Everyone loves FREE... like this free drum forum. But like your car and even your drums, they require upkeep and maintenance and that requires money.

I know from working with Drum Bum through the years, that this forum is costly to run. It requires server fees, hosting, ongoing moderation, advertising, software upgrades, security certificates and IT work when it breaks. All in addition to the expenses that come from running a business. These costs are offset (hopefully) by members that click through to Drum Bum to make a purchase now and then, if not make a contribution to help keep it running.

On behalf of Drum Bum, thank you for your consideration. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

I think it should be brought back. It gives me a place to try out new material before I go on the road.

Tom, between you, Bish, and Zack, I get enough material to do a George Carlin for a month.
