ok.... I use turtle wax chrome polish, brasso, and some wadding polish stuff that I don't remember the name of. 2slow mentioned some stuff that really seemed to work on his cymbals, but I don't remember what it is.

Kry, I tried them all, this was told to me by a old drummer and I found that the cymbals were like mirrors.

I use Groove Juice probably available at your local drum shop. Great stuff, works well on stands and hardware too.

Groove Juice is the same stuff as Kaboom that you buy at Wall Mart for a third of the price! so I am told anyway.

With soap and water, you better be absolutely certain to get them dry, or you rick the rust factor. Also soap and water won't do anything about the tarnish on the cymbal. For some the tarnish is no big deal, but to others, they want bright, and shiny!

I use the Sabian cleaner that is in a spray bottle. it works really well and does not strip your logos.

Hey guys whatever you use, make sure that it is not an abrasive, cause you can actually score the cymbal surface.

    all the best...

I've heard that bar keepers friend cleanser really works well also on non polished cymbals. I've tried it on an old zildjian ride cymbal and I was pleased with the results.

never gave it much thought, as i like the sound of cymbals after a few years of no cleaning other than the ocational dusting. that was till i bought a pair of brilliant finish A customs. i've had em for about 6 or 8 months and it is time to clean em. i am going to just try the zildjian product that they recomend.

Funky, that is the same stuff as the Sabian cleaner that I mentioned earlier. The music store where I live sells Sabian cymbals so that is all they stock. The Zildian stuff will not tarnish the brilliant polish on the A Customs. I have A customs as well, and it will leave your logos intact.
