Hmmm. Well i guess an honest review of a product that is drum related so other drummers can see and hear it is against the rules. That's a tad different than advertising but I've had other posts removed on this forum before too.
Why bother. It'll get taken down again. It's in other places I frequent.
Here are the rules related to spam, selling, pushing traffic, links, affiliates, etc. I've seen it all through the years and I don't argue this stuff anymore. Best to just read them, understand them, and post accordingly. If you do that, nothing will be removed. I promise.
Spam/Advertising:
DrumChat.com has a ZERO TOLERANCE spam policy. Spamming is the posting of topics or spam-like threads that relate to advertising or recruitment. This includes attempting to push traffic to your website by repeatedly linking to it through posts or signatures. If a user spams, they will be removed from the forums. *You may NOT advertise your business in any form or fashion; this includes independent vintage drum dealers and those wishing to drive traffic to their website for affiliate click-through profit. Also, advertisements through PMs, Signatures, and Avatars are NOT allowed. It is considered spam, similar to e-mail spam.
Commercial Links:
DrumChat.com does not allow the posting of links to any outside commercial website. This includes any website that is selling merchandise or services of any kind. We understand and appreciate that many of you like to get opinions of others on what drumset to buy and so forth so we will continue to allow product pictures but not if they contain websites or if the pictures are more like advertisements. It will be left up to the discretion of the moderators on what is acceptable or not. To add a picture to Drum Chat, you right click the image, select 'properties' and copy the url to your clipboard. You then click back over to Drum Chat and select the picture icon and paste the url.
Selling:
At this time, selling personal property is not allowed within Drum Chat. These includes posting links to your property on eBay or any similar website.
Links to Other Forums:
We ask that you please do not post any links to any other forums or message boards. Any threads or posts with such a link will be removed by a moderator.
And now that I look at them again, we need to update the SELLING link. You actually can now sell in here (thanks Drum Bum!) but you can't link out to 3rd party websites like eBay, etc. Here are the rules for the selling section:

So tell me how a review on YouTube, not linking a product at all is selling? I didn't even mention the price of them either. Quite the sales pitch I was doing.
It was a review that I feel drummers on here might be interested in hearing. I didn't even include a link to the companies website.
So we can go totally off topic and mention underage porn or make fun of overweight women, but we can't have legit drum reviews in here?
