Rust killer make your own

You my need to convert measurements

900 millilitres water
700 millilitres methilated sprits
2700 millilitres phosphoric acid
120 millilitres citric acid dry powder use a measuring cup

You must add in order listed
Remember these are chemicals and will react Otherwise..

Makes 4.5 liters (1 gallon)
I keep mine in plastic oil container

Good for restoration of any steel, works just as well if not better than stuff you buy.

Drum hoops... Clean as much rust as you can with fine steel wool(scrubber). Old toothbrush put killer on hoops leave for 10-20 min, wipe of with rag. Wash hoop with warm soapy water dry,( I dry mine in oven on low heat 100 degrees Celsius) polish and elbow grease to Finnish.

Car parts , anything that is rusty,does well on aluminium. Have used on rusty cymbals but try on old one first if it gets on logo it's gone

Would advise the use of gloves. But if Just doing a little spot.or quick job. You be alright, just wash in soapy water when you first feel it starting to burn eats cloths too

Yea they drink meths down here too. But wouldn't drink this stuff with the phosphoric acid in it.
