    Default PDP 700 / 800 Hardware

Swapped out my Yamaha hardware for PDP Hardware on my PDP Bop Kit.

Nothing special, but just my initial thoughts on the hardware

Hi Spaz.I understand that you want everything to match on this little set but, have you ever used Yamaha Crosstowns and if so what is your opinion of them?

I can't give you personal live feedback as I've never used them personally... but I have seen them and played with them at a store and I tell you what... they are pretty impressive!! Super super light weight, almost scary toy stuff light weight. But I have heard good things about them.

I have a set of Crosstowns, 3 cymbal stands, a hi hat and snare stand. I've only gigged once with them so far, but I am impressed with their light weight and stability. I wouldn't hang a rack tom on one but other than that, they work well.

The heaviest thing I have put on a stand is a 20" ride. It's very stable, tho I might be hesitant to use it outdoors on a windy day.
