Default Pearl World Series drums. 1 or 2 ply heads?

I have a MK2 version of this kit arriving shortly.
I read that the coated insides of these shells can cause some resonance that is not overly desirable, ( but I have no experience with this, do you?)
These shipped in the late 80s,early 90s with Pearl pinstripes. (2 ply beasts)

TLDR; What heads heads have you tried? 1 or 2 ply???

If you've had direct experience with a World Series WX or WLX, I'd be grateful to know.

    Thank you.

Those are the heads I use on almost all of the toms I have owned in the last ten years. Peace and goodwill.

Did you know Evans makes an actual reso head? I didn't until I received an orphan drum with it on. Works better than a G1 IMHO.
