Awesome man, gigs like that make all the work and money we put into it worth it.
Our band was hired to play Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort on the weekend of the Arkansas Derby - or the busiest weekend of the year at the venue. We headlined Friday and Saturday nights.
All in all both nights went really well and we received a number of great reports.
Places like that are super cool to play. We are expecting to go back for more dates soon!

There's nothing like being in a band, especially with a full house! Good for you!
Gigs are supposed to be fun. It's the before and after crap that (thankfully was just was just a small % of the gigs we played) that got to me and, again, once we moved out of bars (for the most part) and got into clubs where for the most part people don't go there to get drunk and be rowdy mainly because it's more expensive.
DW, I'm really happy for you to have such a good gig you (and the band) deserve it.
