New drum day
I’m out of town with my son for a baseball tournament, but my local drum shop called to tell me my new kit made it in today!
Mapex Saturn V.
Can’t wait to get home to pick it up.

Got her home and set up! I don’t have the heads seated and tuned properly but she still sounds awesome!

I’ve got a custom built Slingerland snare and a Mapex Exterminator snare I’m going to switch between for now. I plan on saving up to get a Black Panther snare to use with it.Originally Posted by Drumolator

You are going to need to slow down just a bit. I thought I might have caught up to you by purchasing a DW Performance Series kit since you just got yours and one of my local drumming buddies just got one. I had to see what all the fuss was about.
But I'm not prepared to jump right back in with more Mapex.
Just for my future planning, what kit are you looking at next?
