Default Need recommendations on a smaller ride cymbal

Love my 22" HHX Legacy ride but would love to find a small 18 or 19" ride I could use for smaller venues. Anyone have any good recomendations? I prefer used so older and not being made anymore is definitely in play here. Prefer a Sabian but does not have to be if it sounds good. I have a 20" K that is fantastic but love to get something a little smaller if possible. I do not have to crash on it although I know most probably can be crashed on when they are below 20"

    Thanks

Why not go with a 20"? I think you could find more to choose from that way, where they actually sound like ride cymbals. I use a 20" HH Sabian that I've had for years. It fits both loud gigs and softer gigs suitable for smaller venues. If you went the route of an 18" or 19", definitely find something that has some ping or it will get washy on you. I always like to have a nice bell too. If the bell doesn't sound good, I don't buy it.

I have an old Sabian, probably an AA, 18 in. crash that is heavy enough to use as a ride also.

Earlier this year I bought a Sabian SR2 19" Heavy that makes a great ride. I like it so much that I got rid of my HHX 20" Evolution Ride. Peace and goodwill.
