wow gorgeous snares
I removed the heads that came with the snares (two had original and one had been replaced) and put Remo Fiberskyn heads on them. I like the look! Dig the vibe. And with these heads it mellowed out the overtones a bit and added or brought out the lower frequencies a bit.

nice heads. I was listening to a sound comparison video the other day and the Remo Fibreskyn and Skyntone heads really jumped out in sound.

I tried those Fiberskyns one time. I liked them but can't remember why I didn't keep them on. I think it's because I still liked the Remo Ambassadors better. But these days, I'm using a coated Emperor.

I had a conversation recently when deciding to go with the new heads. It took me days to make a decision. During that time a buddy of mine said something we’ve all heard, if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. I’ve used Remo Ambassador Coated for ever and one of my maple snares has a Remo CS Coated.
It gets a bit overwhelming with so many choices for heads available from several manufacturers.

Hi here is the video. You gotta take into account the type of snare [maple die cast on top] already dry, and tuning that's being used seems to be kind of an upper medium tuning.
I kind of laugh because some of the heads seem like they should sound better.
