If you've heard Shadows Fall, you probably heard the drums in there somewhere lol. He's pretty good, man, some of his double bass fills and techniques are craaazy.

Yep, he's prob my favorite drummer. Now as far as double bass, i know Tim Yeung holds the record for being the fastest, he is also damn good. Here is a clip of him jamming.

Bittner tears it up, he's got tons of technique, blazing fast dbl bass, and plays for a killer metal band.

He also got the chance to solo with Mike Portnoy on his Transatlantic set.

That solo bored me. Hes all straight, fast double bass and fills.
Id much rather listen to masters of groove like Steve Gadd, Bernard Purdie or Ringo. Those guys know that LESS IS MORE!

To each his own, i dont see how that could bore anyone though. Its not spectacular but the guy has skills, they dont just give you master class status for being boring, straight and fast. Yes he is certified Master Class. I personally like that vid though so i thought i would post it.

Tim Y is awesome too. He makes it look as if he is bored, and never seems to sweat!!
Watch the Tim Y video above, and notice the single stroke tom fill at 3:09 ... its super clean. Yummy!
