Drummer Rick Allen Attacked

Drummer Rick Allen of Def Leppard was violently attacked outside of a hotel in Florida yesterday. Allen was there to perform in a show with the band at the Hard Rock Hotel.

A 19 year old by the name of Max Hartley rushed full speed and attacked Allen outside of his hotel room as he was smoking a cigarette. As a result, Allen hit his head on the ground. No word yet on the severity of the wound. The assailant was arrested and charged with battery.

Lots and lots of weirdness in the world today. I think it's being done on purpose through social media. divide the country and slowly chip away at people's emotions with headline after headline about violence and immorality.

hope Rick's okay ... love Def Leppard great memories, not so great though, I remember the day Steve Clark died. glad Pete Willis survived.
