Road Pro and Speed Cobra hardware
After years with birch (Granstar, Starclassic Performer) and occasionally maple (other's kits) I really enjoy this walnut shell. The tone is fantastic. They resonate so well and the sustain goes for ever. Punchy. Naturally the lower frequencies are accented with this wood. Nice deep, rich sound. Plenty sensitive. It took me a few weeks for my ears to really like and enjoy it. Now there's no question I made a good choice.
