If you are going to get an 18" FT for whatever reason you could do a lot with it besides leave it as an 18" oddball. Let your imagination run with it.

I hope I don't effend here i hate the sound of 18 flrtoms i to me they sound like a big rumble not musical tone to my ears why do they exist there a waste of space get rid of them quick smart I am going to throw my Sq2 away when it arrives absolute rubbish.way to go man

I have been using 16" and 18" FT's for decades. Learn how to tune.

Yes, setting up such a device requires a lot of experience and costs a lot of time.
