What did everyone do for Labor Day weekend?

I thought Labor Day weekend was going to be kind of slow but we got invited to a Jimmy Buffet celebration of life party and then a friend of mine and myself went to see a really good band the next day. I was going to the lake yesterday but it was just too damn hot so I went to the mall instead and found some great Labor day deals on some clothes I needed. I just set up my drums today and hope to get some good practicing in this week. I've got some gigs coming up and need to be fresh.

Really warm here, so we did not venture far from the house. I was able to finish a project I began a few weeks ago.

My buddy had a big cook-out at his place, so we decided to see if our little three piece outfit could still rock a crowd. We played four sets on plywood laying in his yard. We did pretty good. Hauling gear, setting up, playing, breaking down, and hauling it all back home , in 90 degree weather is not for the faint of heart( I don't miss that part). Overall I had a good time.
