They look like a junkyard in South America exploded and landed on some North drums.

Good old North drums. Wasn't there some other company that made those goofy looking things too?

Such silliness.
And yet the best show I ever saw him play was two weeks before their first album was released.....
Frank played a 5-pc. Fibes acrylic....not silly....looked and sounded great.

It is kind of funny for him to have these sets I mean I know it's for the show but when you watch him play he could probably use a 2 pc and be fine. He does do a lot on the toms though and double bass stuff.

I'd agree and take it one step up. There's a lot going on that goes undetected until you watch and listen. Check out the Live in Texas DVD. Caught my attention like never before.
