I got a Pearl Chad Smith snare with a Gretsch Renown set I bought and while starting to tune it up this little black rubber part fell out and now I can't tension the strainer enough to get a decent sound. Anyone have one of these snares know how this rubber piece fits in the lever mechanism? is this a thing with these snares??
