A lot of people probably didn't know that Charo was an exceptional guitarist. She studied with Andres Segovia. There is no (real) written music for Malaguena as every guitarist that plays it, plays it in a different way. The basic chords are A (sometimes A minor) G F and E. From that point on, you are on your own.

Rick, she has never given her correct age. I read WIKI about her and her birth was listed as 1941, 1947, and 1951. I saw her on the Carson show with Xavier Cugat who discovered her then married her. She said that the marriage was a way to get her into the US.
