This was found on an old laptop (I have several. Don't know why but I do) and my laptop says 11 years ago is when I made this video.

I was having some trouble with the audio, little blank spots for 1/2 a second. The + is that it was a couple of years before my wrists started bothering me.

After this vid, I changed the BD reso head as it sounded like I was beating on a big old wooden door.

Great stuff as always. You don't see guys doing crossovers as much as you used to.

The crossovers started out as a "showoff" move when I was a teenager (way, way, way back in the day) but stopped when I got out of the service and started playing in bar bands.

When Buddy had his clubs back in the mid '70's I saw him do some fills using a crossover and I started doing the same.

I wish I still had that speed.

You've still got a lot of facility. Happy that you're still playing after all these years. You sound good!

Thanks Tom, I appreciate what you said (wrote)

It did start going downhill maybe 2 years after that video.

I only saw one other guy with as fast single strokes as you Rick. His name was Buddy Rich. Maybe we should call you Buddy Rick. Impressive to say the least. Keep on drumming.
