I’ve seen one advertised and they look good quality for their price. This one is less than $90. I’m curious also.

In most cases, 'you get what you pay for'. This appears to be yet another China brand. They're famous for cutting quality to get the price down so that it looks attractive. Pay close attention to the reviews. On this one, people are saying, the stool is "hard as a rock" and "wobbly". If I don't see numerous comments on higher star reviews that look real and ensure me it's a good buy, I don't bite. It's worth it to pay extra for a high quality throne. I recently found a great deal with a Pork Pie, thick drum seat for $50. That's rare but they're out there, if you keep looking. Plus, the brand names will hold their resale value. If you decide to upgrade to a nicer stool at some point and want to move this. There's no way you're going to get anywhere near $90 for it because drummers don't recognize the brand.
Hope this helps!
A couple of years ago,I got a Tama First Chair for $40 used,in great shape, One of my better buys.

These old bones really appreciate the back. Also don't like the bounce of hydraulic's and they weigh a ton.
