just want to see if anyone has any experience with the pacific boa pedals. I have a dw 5000 and I like it, but I wanted to try something new.. something I hoped would be like an old speed king "love those". the boa seems pretty cool, but they also seem a bit "gimmickish" any how thanks and hello.

    End of story lol
Pretty much anything Pacific isn't top quality even if it is their "top" quality product.

Top quality PDP are only as good as DW's worst stuff. It's like the old chef and cook argument, the worst stuff a chef can do is only as good as the best a cook can do.

I knew pacific was dw's budget line.. I think I may go try out one of the IC nylon driven pedals.. I would get a speed king but I hear the new ones just aren't the same and I'm afraid I'd destroy it.

Ludwig still sell the old speed kings, about 50 stores in the US in total will sell them, that means 50 GC, not the entire chain etc.
