Default Iron Cobra Double Bass Pedal(for me!)

Yep thats right. 13s gettin an iron cobra double pedal. Well, almost. At the location where I take drum lessons, i planned to buy a double pedal. So I got there and they were all too expensive...for a 14 year old. So i was about to walk out and this dude sold his iron cobra to the store, used. He said he got it on Christmas and either didn't want it or something like that. So the owner of the store turns to me and says "do you want it?" I was like yeah not for $200. He said he sell it for me for $125 because it squeaked.

My drum teacher said he would take it and fix the squeak and anything else that may be wrong with it. So I plan to pick it up on wednesday. I was wondering if it would be a good choice or not. I think its a good one. I think its still worth it even if the squeak couldn't be fixed. Once I get it, Im probably going to look for some online -free- double pedal learning material.
Anyone know of any good stuff.

So my teacher got the pedal fixed. He said it just needed a little wd40 every three months or so. Since last week I've made $70. Plus my gift card I got for Christmas. I only need $25. So by Thursday I should have everything. Then I'll let you guys know how it is.

Welcome to the Cobra Club My God I'm sad.

Seriously though, I recently got a double rolling glide pedal and it plays like a dream.

My only slight worry was that the right beater came loose a couple of times, but I slid the beater off and gave the ring underneath a good tighten and it hasn't happened since.

One thing I will say is be careful where you position them. I didn't notice at first but I placed mine with the connecting rod slightly touching another stand and as I played them the rod began to wear away Pretty dumb mistake but I've corrected it now and they should be fine.

    Have fun dude!
