    Default Unknown cymbal help.

I have two cymbals who's make/pedigree/quality I know nothing about.

    20" Powerbeat Ride
    14" Rogers Hi-Hats.

Does anyone know anything about these makes/cymbals?

It sounds like they're either an independant cymbal manufacturer or custom made for a certain drum kit. As an example, back in the day Ludwig made full kits with hardware and cymbals, the cymbals were either Paiste 401's or Giant Beat's depending on it's quality, but the cymbal itself never had printed on it the brand name, just the serial imprint.
Look for that, it might be hard to find, but you'll see it after while.

Yep I am pretty sure they are independant and are very low end cymbals usually thrown in with a beginners kit on purchase.

EDIT: Rogers make there own drums...not sure about Power Beats though

Maybe 10 years ago in Australia, Powerbeat was the super, budget, low-end beginner drumkit. I don't know what happened to them, but they weren't very good.
