    Hey everyone! Just thought I would take my first post here to say hello. I am happy to be here because I have heard some good stories about this drum forum. Sounds like a valid place to talk about drum stuff. While I am at it here are some pics and specs of my kit:







    Drums:

    thanks for the welcome! i really like the kit, but man it hurts to buy stuff like that. i can't afford crap except for my drums anymore lol

    hahaha! oh yeah! i am only 16 years old and it is already becoming one. i just recently bought that AAX Xplosion crash and i am goin to get a splash soon to replace my old one that i broke. man...drums are expensive

    dont want to be rude, but how much did that kit cost you? oh and i have 2 aaxplosion crashes (16 & 18) and i love them, and like you i am 16 (next month) but my set is nothing compared to yours

    not a rude question at all! and don't worry if your kit isn't much. All you need to rock is a few pieces of junk and some trash can lids. Anyway, the Tamas are 1700 dollars, the cymbals all together are about 700 dollars, cymbal stands and misc. hardware are 400, and the DW 9002s are 500 dollars. Total: 3300 smackers. I have the Tamas on a monthly payment thing at Guitar Center, and for the rest I saved up the money for two years. Yeah.

    thanks! lol I have been playing for seven years. I have devoted A LOT of my life to drumming so yeah. I am no newbie.
