Lethal injection, double sided dime, Intermedial Force, just suggestions lol.
Hey there, my first post in a long time. i've started another band, but thing is we can't think of a good band name that we all agree on. Any suggestions? We're aiming towards more Rage against the Machine, and punk style. I already have a good idea but I thought I'd open this up to the floor.

Lethal injection, double sided dime, Intermedial Force, just suggestions lol.

I already have a band, but if I were to be in a different one, it would be called Dilingham's Flaw.
It's a classic.
• How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five: One to screw the bulb in, and four to talk about how much better
Neil Peart could have done it.
How about Punk'd outRage? (typing and spelling intentional)
....or The Road to Rage (play on the phenomenon of "road rage")
....Wrenchin' the Works (play off of "a wrench in the machine" or, in this instance, "a wrench in the works," kind of a spin on "rage against the machine, but not quite so obvious)...
took a wee bit longer than I thought, mate, but have at 'em...

Ah, so a band name...hmmm.
Limp Heart, Headstart. Those were pretty crappy...yep.
"Music is always an experiment."
One of the members here has this cool username - Riff Wrath - I'd name my band that! I think it's cool.
I like band names having to do with natural disasters like:
Landslide, Gale Warning or something like G-Force - depends on what type of music you're playing
I play Sonor Signature Series drums, Zildijian & Sabian cymbals.
Try We're Starving or Throw Your Money At Us. My guess is equal success either way.
If you have the imagination to make the music that people want, it won't matter what you call yourselves.
Also try:
Penetrating Lampshades (provocative, with a girly factor)
Future Homeowners Within the United States of America
I hope this helps.

No, I still won't play Wipe Out.
Heh, the only good way to name your band is to either have a member with a cool name or throw random words together so noone knows the meaning of it or questions you on it. Haha
find a book, go to page 61 and go down to the 7th line 8th word. theres your first word
get another book, pg 19 last line first word, theres another word

oh yeah...this is the one that gave me "Hung Porcelain" when I visited it about a year ago--still makes me think of an Oriental bathroom-fixtures factory!
just for fun I typed in "bongobro's"...into the suggestion page and here's what I got...
Bongobro's Of The Blooming Sauce (Chinese restaurant?)
Blurry Bongobro's (Beer goggles?)
Chafed Bongobro's (let's don't even go there!)
Bongobro's Article (The? A? An?)
Crusade Of The Bongobro's Inbred (cats, dogs, parakeets?)
Bongobro's Invention (a self-tuning conga drum?)
Bongobro's Rumble (would be a cool album title)
Bongobro's Grunge (I beg your pardon, I shower daily!)
Bongobro's Of The Portable Beauty (huh?)
Bongobro's Vortex (let's give those hand drums a spin! Must admit that, and "Bongobro's Rumble" would be a good name for my group )

Just saw the THS on Lionel and Nicole Richie on E! the other day...seems that's how the Commodores got their name...somebody (maybe Lionel himself) closed his eyes and pointed at the dictionary; his finger landed on "commodore." He admitted, "good thing it wasn't 'commode.'"
And the Bay City Rollers supposedly stuck a pin in a U. S. map and it landed at Bay City, Michigan...thus, it wasn't the Muskegon Rollers or the Benton Harbor Rollers or the Lincoln Park Rollers....

Something in another language is always cool. Then some people don't know it has some other meaning than just sounding cool lol.

I have heard of a club band named "free Beer" they said it looked good on the markee and drew a lot of people to the club.
Sometimes you have to consider the gender you want to attract.
Men tend to spend the most money in nightclubs, unless it's a male revue, then the balance tips to the women. Overall, guys still spend the most money buying drinks for the girls.
To attract men:
Wet T-Shirt Contest No Cover
Free Bail Bonding. Pronounce all syllables with equal emphasis. This could draw a few females too.
To attract women:
Alan Alda Types. (if you're a retro band, older women will flock, but be sure to maintain the Hawkeye stage personas)
Maybelline Stockholders.
I have more, but dinner's burning..
No, I still won't play Wipe Out.
