Its all in straight time. He accents "one and two" first few bars and then just variations of 16ths on the toms around the guitar. Pretty easy. You'll get it.

Mitch Mitcell is a superb drummer but this one is not hard to do it, just listen carefully, put it deep in your mind and then express it on your drums.
If you cant do exactly the same then just play what sounds good to you

Put your headphones in! It'll be a lot clearer that way.

Both good advice there. That's what I do. If I don't have any video of the drummer doing it. I just keep focus on the sound of the toms and keep at it. You'll get it. I've got faith in ya.

that is not mitch mitchell drumming, its buddy miles, and he is doing 16th notes on the toms with accents, gives it a sort of triplet feel, its real easy, just listen and break it down, or you could go see him in concert and ask him back stage, he is still touring.... watch out though .. he bites. grooving player, wold be a great night.
