    Everything has a groove to it, even 8 on a hand.......no matter how fast something is, if you groove it you will be mentally and physically able to play the piece.(drum instructor)

    practice slow or you will suck when you wanna go fast(drum captain)

    Be Open minded
    Listen and watch as much as you can

    crazydrummer: Metal sounds like someone is rampaging through a pig pen with a machine gun....

    Shazane: They are firing that machine gun at a perfect 380 BPM in 7/8, while the agonized screams of the pigs are flawlessly harmonizing arpeggios at 20 notes per second.
