nice
Just picked this up last night and I'm lovin it so far.
This cymbal, like the rest of the Sig crashes, is very explosive and has somewhat of a ringy sustain. The sticking has a very full and dynamic wash to it which doesn't reach the full potential of the crash itself, which is something I personally like for riding during songs. Rolls are excellent and fragile with this crash and can get very loud. Being a 16", it's sound is quite piercing and somewhat hard to find a place for in mellow or darker playing, but with a bit of practice it fits quite nicely.
Overall, I am totally satisfied with this cymbal as a birthday gift from my grandmother... However I still uphold my loyalty to the Sig Reflector line.

I have a buddy with an 18" and 16" signature and I prefer the 16" both are very nice cymbals. He has a kit worth a couple hundred dollars and has hung the above mentioned and more expensive cymbals all over it. The drums sound like garbage but the cymbals are beautiful. It's all for his 10 year old daughter to learn to play. I tease him that he is a hopeless cymbalholic!
Lol, sounds like it.

Nice review 32nd!
In the Sig line I have a 22" full ride, 18" full crash, 17" power crash, 16" full crash, and 10" splash.....I'm kinda partials to Sigs myself, but reflectors are awesome too!
As piercing as you need them to be, yet they can be played softly and subtly when it's called for too.
The 16" is my "go-to" crash though. I love that cymbal! The 18" can be a bit too explosive, but the 16" fits right into just about any situation.
