yes, they sound VERY good. it is going to take some time to get used to 2 things, though:

1) the new pedals
2) not having a mid tom...seems like a mile between the hi and floor toms.

Holy Moly! That's a sweetie! You're going to love that kit, Ludwig is still the king. One suggestion, swap out the tom heads for some coated ambassadors, and a coated Emporer on the kick, with a rolled up towel touching it, you'll thank me later.

thanks. the pics don't do them justice at all, either. a bad camera and a worse photographer (me!!!)

in those pics i just kinda had them thrown up to get photos, too. took a couple hours to finally get everything "just so"...still can't quite get the hi-hat pedal right, not sure what i'm doin wrong. it feels like it is taking too much effort to close them w/ foot completely. guess i am missing an adjustment somewhere???

one question for you all...when i hit the bass or a tom, the snares rattle (my old kit did, too). you think it's just because i am confined to such a small area?

yea totti, they are all Armand's now. i still have a couple ZBT's on in the pics i believe.
