    Default What's the best headphones for recording?

    There are many to choose from, but what's the best out there with a closed back that won't allow for a lot of bleed-through, comfortable for hours, etc. Please post with specific make/model. Thanks.

    I use Metrophones. They are stereo isolation headphones with a built in metronome. I love em. They shield just enough of the volume and recreate a very good amount of the definition of the music. Trust me its best to have your own iso headphones. Ive recorded at local "professional" studios who had the crappiest headphones. It sucks when you can't even hear your click track over your own playing.

    extreme isolation headphones by direct sound. not sure of any model numbers or if they have more than one. they're supposed to be the best on the market.
