Default Help identifify this snare please

Hey guys, I just picked up this snare for $70 and I need some help trying to find out what it is.

All maple, looks to be 8 ply with no reinforcement rings. 14" x 6.5". There are no markings or badges anywhere on this thing. I can usually get a good idea by the lugs and throwoff, but I cannot find this throwoff anywhere in my searchings. There is a good chance this is a custom job, but I don't know for sure.

Maybe one of you has seen one of these before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks to me to be a custom build, and a nice one I might add. Looks like $70.00 well spent

I would also say custom made. Same question as CC, how does it sound?
I play, Gretsch Catalina Birch, 7 piece in the vintage sunburst finish.

looks custom to me also. 70 is a great buy. I built my own maple snare and had 200 in materials by the time I was done. Nice find.

Do what I did and make a video, haha.
    It's a classic.
