    Cool Re: micro-kit!

I posted a comment earlier in SHOW US YOUR DRUMS!, but I admire your ingenuity, wonder1! That kit doesn't look like it takes up much more space than the three congas I normally use at church!

    Great job, bro'!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

Wow!! That's cleverly constructed. You might have found yourself something that can get you a little $$$. I noticed that SteveO is very interested. If you have any tendency to building for sale, let me know as well...A kit just like I saw pictured would be ideal for me to practice with.

that looks kool as heck man, i gotta hear it. it would be kool for accoustic gigs, or even drum circle stuff, where you would like a kit feel and not overpower the others. it looks like something i would wanna set up on a street corner and play for change. it could only be cooler if it had a remote hat attatched to the stand to keep it more compact.

Ya!you're right...this kit looks crazy! sound like normal drum-kit but more cleaner,it even easy for miked up!normally the gigs that I play just need 3 mic!one for the Kick, the other one for Snare/tom/hi-hat.The last one is Over head mic for the whole-kit!Well!In fact it's easy to made this kit(DIY).all you need is some tools, plywood.plus old/used drum parts!I just take drum building as my hobby!

Thanks!it all depan how complicated the design is.Normally! It take 1 day to complete the whole drum's body.Drilling/Fixing all the drum's part like holder, heads etc will take about 1 hours. The most challanging part is tuning the snare & bass.Because there's no point by just the "Looks"only if it doestn't sound "Good".To get a "Good"sound will take almost 3 days!!Try out different kind of drum head,Bass drum beater, muffering for the kick etc etc!!But,I think it's real fun!!
