It's a RUSH, ain't it. Good for you!!
We just played our first show and we ROCKED!!! We played Hush - Deep Purple, Another brick in the wall pt 2 - pink floyd, knockin on heavens door - our guitarists version, and our original sands of time. We had the crowd singing sands of time from the time we ended until the time we left! Our band was by far the best out there. It was like a battle of the bands type thing. WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!
It's a RUSH, ain't it. Good for you!!
See, I need to get to the point where I can play a set....then it will be my chance to play live....ha ha

Thanks for the congrats everyone.
I was nervous from the beginning of the day up until sound check. After that I was just all out hyper. The lead guitarist once said "OMG he is triipin bawls." Of course a huge can of monster made all my problems go away. Afterwards though I was talking to some of the people in the crowd and they said I looked like I had done it a thousand times before. So anyway...12 hours later and I still have an adrennaline rush.
Good for you Roober, way to go!
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

oh dear me Roober, Im afraid I have some very bad news for you my friend!!!
You are now a fully fledged member of the drummin/music fraternity, You are hooked and there is no turning back, forever you will walk with music in your heart and your mind. Keep enjoying the journey its a long and fulfilling one. I am so gald your first show was such a great night for you and your band buddies. You will never forget this night and it will always be a fond memory in your heart. If you can get a copy of the tape keep it in a safe place, You have no idea what it will mean to you and your kids when you view it many years down the road.
