The understatement of the year, man...what a wide range of musical styles--and you're fortunate enough to have a part in all of them!
Way to go, bro'!
I'm fortunate to be playing in a few groups right now!
Heavens to Betsy -
An Alt-Country band "Steeped in the traditions of the great singer/songwriters from Austin and all areas south, this alt country rockin' combo may be from the midwest, but they are southern by the grace of God. "
Check us out - we just recorded six demo songs over the sumer and they are up on the MySpace page

Central Ohio Brass Band -
a British style competition brass band. We compete annually in the North American Brass Band Association championships.
DEFINITELY a lot of fun playing percussion behind 35 brass players!
(I actually met my wife in this group so it has a special place for us. The running joke is that my percussion collection doubled once we got married!)

and last but not least, I play in our contemporary worship band at church.
when we have a full group, we run piano, bass/electric.acoustic guitars, drums, and a 12+ person choir! What a great group this is!

Nice stuff Grissom! I've always had a soft spot for some good Americana music...you guys do it well.
Thanks NPD - This was an entirely new genre to me about a year ago... I have definitely come to appreciate where it comes from!
A good friend of mine needed some help to get the group off the ground and besides, what better way to make time to hang out together!
