very good, you need to maybe practice with a metronome since the timing is off a little and focus on clearing up the fills. great job for how long you have been playing though

Way to go DG! Especially for 3 months, that's a really great job! Your hands are really fast, and once you get the timing of transitions, etc., you're going to have some great fun! Keep it up DG!

BTW, I disagree DC. It's just different. DC, I have heard you, and you are a rock solid drummer on your grooves.

    WOOT DG! GO HARD!

Raise your hi hat a little more. It will hurt your arm for a while but it will give you better posture. And more endurance eventually

As for those fills. Play them at half speed alot. ONce there smooth speed them up slowly then ull nail them at that speed perfectly. I remember trying them and going so fast i would play faster than the metronome too :P

But well done wicked vid lets see what another 3 months brings! :>

DARN YOU RINGO FOR HAVEING SIMILAR BEATS FOR A FEW SONGS
the hi hat snare bass beat sounds a ton like the one from i am the walrus and the fills sound like they were used in the other to.

Good job DG! SteveO has good advice for you. Practice your timing slowly and gradually increase speed as you become more comfortable with it. He's right about the hi-hat as well...raise your RH up a bit and you will start to fit in with the grooves you play. As you play, count the 1+2+3+4+ out loud and then play that pattern on each of the drums while keeping the bass drum solid on 1234. That's how you develop timing and stamina so you don't tire so easily. Go for it DG!!

    Cool Re: My Drum Solo!

...and from the way you enjoyed yourself on this one, I know it's not going to be the last!

Frank and Stevo have some great ideas to help you on that endurances, so put them to work on the next vid!

keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!
