Can you imagine the setup/tear down time this kit would take?? I would hate to be his roadie!

Interesting that so many of the drums are sitting on the plywood. I seems to me that the resonance of the drum would be stifled. I don't see triggers, but maybe I'm missing something here.

terry bozzio can do some amazing stuff with that kit. the ply wood frame is only a means to mount the toms. i would love to try playing a chromatic tuned kit like that just once. there is a ton of links to vids and all the info you can ask for on the kit. that is one of the old versions.

Funky, do you mean that the plywood is removed once the drums are mounted?

BTW, I'd hate to be the "tuning boy" for that kit. I'd have to show up the day before, just to get it all done!

Ahhhh! Thank you DD. I hadn't consider holes in the plywood. I saw the solid piece down by the bass, and assumed they were all solid. Silly me!

No offense, but man your post are hard to read, maybe it is the problem with the capitol lock, or is that artistic impression?

That second kit is cool, looks like it could be used as a duelling drummer set up.

    Cool Re: Drums!

Whoa! You'd need two drummers to play Bozzio's kit!
